There are three types of order minimums on Markato: product minimum quantity, brand minimum order value, and Markato minimum order value. All three minimums must be met before you can place an order.
Product minimum quantity: this is a minimum quantity for a specific product before it can be added to your cart. This is set by the Brands themselves.
Brand minimum order value: this is the minimum dollar amount a brand is willing to sell to a retailer. You will not be able to place your order with a particular brand if you do not meet this minimum. This is set by the Brands themselves and may vary depending on the specific brands.
Markato minimum order value: this is the minimum dollar amount in your Markato cart before you will be able to place an order. This amount can be the aggregate across multiple brands. This value may be different depending on where you are based.
The Markato minimum order value is HKD 2,000 for Hong Kong based retailers, SGD 300 for Singapore based retailer and MYR 1,000 for Malaysia based retailer.
Minimum order values are calculated based on product-level prices and promotions, excluding shipping costs, any vouchers or wallet credit.
